Glacier Country Kayaks offers a variety of guided Kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard tours on the iconic Lake Mapourika.

Join them for a paddle across the calm reflective waters and take in the panoramic reflections of the surrounding Alps and Glaciers.  The back of the lake is part of a Kiwi Conservation area which you can explore with your experienced local guide.  Enjoy lush native rainforest, curious native birdlife and some of the rarest kiwi birds on the planet!

Sit back and relax as your guide will look after the photos for you, which they provide FREE after each tour.

Anyone that has arrived into New Zealand from Monday 16th March 1am is required to self-isolate for 14 days.  If you do not do this you will be deported out of New Zealand if you are caught. If you need advice you can call the health line  0800 358 5453 or +64 9 358 5453  Do not enter a hostel, a hospital or a doctors clinic instead call the health line if you think you have the coronavirus.  If you need somewhere to self-isolate we might be able to help you so send an email to [email protected]co.nz.  Many hostels are now checking your passports to see when you have entered the country and will report you to the police if you are not following the New Zealand requirements.
