We offer our guests free unlimited WiFi. Every bed has it’s own power plug, light and locker. Free towels are available on request. Our staff can help you with planning and booking your further journey around New Zealand.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 2pm and check-out is before 10am
What are your reception hours?

Our lovely receptionists are here for you from 6:30am - 7:00pm
My ferry will arrive after 7.00pm, how can I check-in?

A check-in after 7:00pm is absolutely no problem. We will send an email and message containing a code for the secure box where you will find your key card. To ensure you receive this information please make sure your email address and phone number is accurate and provided in your booking details.
How can I meet other backpackers and fellow guests?

Our wonderful hosts at The Marion organize a variety of free events, including Sunday dinners, tours, game nights, yoga sessions, and more. It's a great way to meet new people and make friends! For details on the events happening during your stay, follow us on Instagram @marionhostel.

How can I safely store my belongings during my stay?

Every bed has a drawer where you can put your backpack and other belongings in. You can lock it with your padlock. There's also luggage storage on the ground floor for bigger items, same here please bring your padlock.
