We offer our guests free unlimited WiFi. Every bed has it’s own power plug, light and locker. Free towels are available on request. Our staff can help you with planning and booking your further journey around New Zealand.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 2pm and check-out is before 10am
What are your reception hours?

Our lovely receptionists are here for you from 6:30am - 9:30pm. But there's always someone on site if you need help or if there's an emergency.
My ferry will arrive after 9:30pm, how can I check-in?

A check-in after 9:30pm is absolutely no problem. Please let us know and we'll send you the details. It's super easy, we promise!
How can I meet other backpackers and fellow guests?

Our lovely hosts at The Marion organise many different free events for you like pizza nights, hikes, exploring Wellingtons music or brewing scene together or game nights. Makes it super easy to meet new people and make new friends. For more info and what kind of events are on during your stay please check out our event board next to reception.
What's there to do in Wellington?

Wellington has much more to offer than just the TePapa Museum! Convince yourself and talk to one of our lovely receptionists. They are more than happy to share their favorite spots and hidden gems with you.
What's complimentary with my stay?

We've got free tea, coffee and hot chocolate, oil and spices available for you. You can also borrow a free towel for your stay. We would also be happy if you joined us for one of our many free events

How can I safely store my belongings during my stay?

Every bed has a drawer where you can put your backpack and other belongings in. You can lock it with your padlock. There's also luggage storage on the ground floor for bigger items, same here please bring your padlock.
