  • WHAT ARE YOUR RECEPTION HOURS?
    Our reception is open 7 days a week from 8 am – 8 pm.
  • CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE BEFORE AND AFTER CHECK-IN?
    Same-day luggage storage is free. Just ask our friendly Front Office team.
  • IS ALL BED LINEN SUPPLIED?
    Yes, we supply all your bed sheets.
  • DO YOU HAVE LAUNDRY FACILITIES?
    Yes, there are self-serve laundry facilities at all of our hostels. Prices are $4 for a wash and $4 for a dry.
  • DO YOU HAVE PARKING?
    We don’t have parking on site, but close by you will find the Te Papa undercover parking. They have an Overnight Fare 5pm to 8am for $10 per night, alternatively you have paid on-street.
  • CAN I ARRIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?
    If you are arriving in after reception hours (after 8 pm), you will need to advise us of late arrival plans prior to the date of arrival. In these instances, directions on how to obtain the room key will be informed by the Haka House Team. Entrance into the Haka House Property will be treated as an acceptance of our terms and conditions. Only paid bookings will receive an email from us with after-hours check-in instructions.
  • HOW CAN I GET TO HAKA HOUSE WELLINGTON FROM THE AIRPORT?
    Wellington Airport is approximately 7km away from the hostel with many transport options available to get you into the city. We recommend catching the public bus catch the AX towards Courtney Place, or booking a shared Shuttle getting off at Courtenay Place – Stop C. This is about a 20-30 min journey depending on traffic. If you are basing yourself in Wellington for some exploring it would be worth getting a Snapper Card, giving you discounted travel on all public transport in and around wellington.
