There’s something for everyone, from full on grade 5 action featuring the world’s highest commercially rafted waterfall through to a gentle grade 2 scenic raft trip suitable for participants as young as 5.

Kayaking is available as freedom hire or a guided tour. Paddle the local lakes to a secluded beach or enjoy a hot water swim only accessible by boat.

Tours & Products

Kaituna (Grade 5) Awesome, featuring the world’s highest commercially rafted waterfall an amazing 7m drop. Suitable for adventurous beginners try it if you dare!

Wairoa (Grade 5) Wild, full on action. This dam release river only runs selected Sundays from September to May and is the most technical of the trips we offer.

Rangitaiki (Grade 3 – 4) Adventurous, fun & Beautifully Scenic. A great trip for first timers this is a day trip from Rotorua and includes lunch.

Rangitaiki (Grade 2) A scenic trip for families or the less adventurous. Suitable for children as young as 5 years old. This is a day trip from Rotorua and includes lunch.

Kayaking Join us for a guided Kayak trip across scenic Lake Rotoiti to the spectacular Manupirua Springs Hot Pools. This amazing spot is situated right on the lake edge and only accessible by boat.  Winter 10am, Summer (Labour weekend to Easter Weekend) 9.00am. In summer an evening option is available with a BBQ dinner, and a sunset paddle to a hidden glow worm cave. 3.30pm Nov to Apr only

Transfers available from central Rotorua commercial accommodation 30 minutes before the trip or meet at our base 15 minutes before.

 

In summer only

Sledging-: The most physically difficult of all the trips we offer. Participants must be strong swimmers and physically fit. Seeing the river at eye level while lying on a board kicking with flippers is not for the faint hearted and is a great personal challenge. Participants should be capable of sprinting 100 metres and recovering reasonably quickly. 10.30am and 2.00pm Nov to Apr only
