  • WiFi - Ultra-fast wifi available onsite.
  • Kitchen - Large fully-equipped communal kitchen for self-catering.
  • Laundry - Token-operated washers and dryers available. Laundry powder available at reception.
  • Minimart - We have a small shop onsite for your convenience, drinks, chocolate, chips and all the essentials for a good snacking session.
  • Free Parking - Free afterhours parking on roadside, and free parking in public car park on weekends.
  • TV & Games - Plenty of entertainment on a wet day, or if you are having a quiet night in.
  • Alcohol and Drug Free - We pride ourselves on having a clean and friendly place where you can get a quieter night's sleep without too many crazy drunk people around!

FAQs

  • What time is check in?
    2pm. If you arrive earlier you can leave your bags at reception for storage until checkin time.
  • What time are reception hours?
    Summer 8am-9pm, Winter 8am-6pm. We have a Night Warden on duty after hours so there is always someone around to help you if needed.
  • How do I check in after hours?
    We have a Night Warden on duty after 9pm and they can let you in. If you are arriving after 11pm, then a phone call from you would be great to let us know when we can expect you. Call 07 9750963 and let us know your arrival time.
  • What time is checkout?
    Can I have a late checkout? Check out is 10am and we generally can’t let you stay longer in the room as we are getting ready for the next lot of guests arriving. There is luggage storage at Reception for you to put your bags. If you need to wait before travelling on from Tauranga, please speak to our reception team beforehand to organise this.
  • What if I check out early?
    You can check out early, please come and see us at reception the night before you are leaving to arrange for your key deposit to be returned once you return the key. We have a key dropoff box at reception for your convenience before 8am.
  • Do you offer female-only dorm rooms?
    Yes, we have a 6-bed girls-only room for travellers who prefer female company only.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    Cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard.
  • How long does it take to get to town?
    We are 2-5 minutes walk to the city centre and local and intercity bus stops.
  • Are there any shops or places to eat nearby?
    All bars and restaurants are very close, only 3-5 mins walk to The Strand where all Tauranga favourite bars and eateries are located.
