FAQs

  • What is your cancellation policy?
    The Guest may cancel the Booking without charge if notice is given to the Backpacker at least 24 hours prior to 1400 hours (local time) of the Arrival Date. In which case the Backpacker will refund to the Guest all sums paid by the Guest in advance.
  • Check in time?
    Check-in time at the Backpacker booked is from 1400 hrs. Check-in prior to 1400 hrs. may be available subject to availability. Guests may access communal facilities prior to check in if required.
  • Check out time?
    Check-out time at the Backpacker booked is 1000 hrs. Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement with an additional charge and subject to availability. (In the absence of such prior arrangement, failure to check-out by 1000 hrs may result in the Guest being charged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable rate).
  • Do I need photo ID to check in?
    Valid photo identification is required at check-in. Copies will NOT be accepted.
  • Is there a curfew?
    Cooking facilities and dining areas are available in all wings until 11pm each night. After 11pm the ground floor kitchen and reception area is available only.
  • Are you pet friendly?
    No animals are allowed in the Backpacker with the exception of guide dogs.
